I installed ramdisk and did some testing, as my system uses about 2gb (i have 4gb) i created a 1024mb ramdisk, first thing i noticed was a near 2x better performance while file transfer from hdd partitions, when i copy a file from hdd to the ramdisk it doesn't look faster than copying the same file from one hdd partition to another (thought it would be faster with ramdisk), then i went to Windows system properties>advanced options and added ramdisk as temp folder, then i set it as virtual memory too and also set it as internet explorer cache... and results where a disaster of course

, too low memory to handle all data, for default Windows picks up 4gb of hdd storage for virtual memory, i just assigned 512mb ramdisk.. internet worked faster while browsing one or two webs at the same time, but got really slow when i had multiple websites opened...
I think this will work for me, ill go with 16gb of ram and assign 8gb SO + 8gb Ramdisk or 10 + 6, sadly i'm just a noob right now with ramdisk, not sure what to configure in Windows to work with ramdisk, would something like this run fast? 8gb Ramdisk (4gb system virtual memory, 2gb internet cache , 2gb temp files)
-As far as i've seen right now, only way to accelerate games or application loads is copying the entire program to ramdisk right? or would Windows virtual memory help with loads?
