Need help with airflow - Corsair 650D with Corsair H100 (2 120m fans each side)

Thread Starter
I'm getting my corsair 650d soon to replace my CM storm enforcer (its being delivered by wednesday) but I don't know much about how to maximize airflow while using the h100

a quick layout i made in paint of the build (i was bored)

and my question is, what fans need to bring air in the case and which fans should bring the air out so it can maximize the air flow/cooling?

also the corsair h100 is going to have 4 fans total, 2 on the outside of the case /w fan grills and 2 on the radiator inside the case

I would run a positive pressure case. Have only the rear exhaust fan and the PSU exhausting air. Make the H100 and the 200mm front fan intake. You'll get air blowing out of the seams, which will help dust reduction.

In my experience with the h100 on a 650d, it didn't matter whether the h100 is set to intake or exhaust. i have mine on exhaust because i do not want it dumping hot air into the case. so far no problems with the temps.

my setup is 200mm cm at the front as intake, a 120mm fan in the drive bay as intake, h100 as exhaust.

also, a few things to note:

- 200 mm cm megaflow will not fit at the front unless you remove both drive cages or saw a small part of it
- push pull config won't fit if you try using the allotted holes. it will hit the 6-pin power cord at the top of most motherboards. you can however mount a push/pull config if you use the grill holes intead.
