Soo, its quite done now, The system is up and running smoothly after some flaws,

First, because the solid tubing didnt expand to pick up the pressure what was left behind when u turn the system off i had some minor leaks, after a little chat Peter(l3p) came with an idea, that was to make a kind of balance line of 1/2tubing, so i made it like he suggested, and damn it worked, was a miracle! its running real smoothly now, Gladly wink.gif

Awesome! Looking great, really. Never thought about acrylic tubing bent like that, and the carbon fiber vinyl makes the case look awesome .

However I don't understand something, why don't you put tubbing like this:

Anyway, looks awesome! Maybe if you had a res outside it would show off more but anyway, it's fantastic smile.gif

I like the build it looks really nice. Explain more of what you had to do to stop the leaks because i wasn't really sure what you meant on your last post.

So basicly i connected a 50cm piece of tygon 1/2 tubing, used that ass fill and bleed port(connected to highest reservoir port) and that sorted my pressure fails.

Acrylic tubing can not expand to pressure into the loop i had with 2 mcp355 pumps, after ataching the tygon tybing i had that sorted.

Loving it (apart for the weird reservoir). I've never liked the copper/nickel tubing. Acrylic tubing though looks perfect Oo. I'm guessing that with acrylic tubing you'll see your coolant as well as in the reservoir, that you won't ever have plasticizing issues, that the tubing won't change colour... that's really the dream tubing. Well it looked like the dream tubing until you mentioned having had leaks because of pressure. I'm not sure I understand the pression / tygon thing by the way.

Oh, almost forgot, how much did the tubing cost and what case was that ?

Good question.

EDIT: What did you cut the acrylic with and how did you get the right length ?

The tubing costs 10 euro for 2 meter.

I choose this route to get 2 long straight lines because i tried both options but liked this one more.

Here some pics smile.gif

The 2 trouble makers wink.gif

When spinning up no problems at all smile.gif but when u turn them off The fluids stops, u create a vacuum pressure something ish

CIMG4393.jpg

The Line that can take all the pressure and fill line and bleed line

CIMG4385.jpg

CIMG4386.jpg

CIMG4388.jpg

CIMG4392.jpg

I hope it wil be clearer about that smile.gif

I made the line rougly inshape, them measure everything, and cut in with 5mm each time smile.gif i cut it with a angle saw

That's really cheap Oo.
Makes you wonder why nobody uses it. I know I will, even if it's only in a year. But I will.

How comes that pressure thing doesn't happen with copper/nickel tubing if it's caused by the acrylic not being able to stretch ?
(I haven't read a lot of hard tubing work logs so I might be wrong about that)
That line is really well hidden. If you hadn't shown us pics of it I don't think I would've noticed it. Good job on that thumb.gif.

Because u need to File the Acrilyc tubing to 12mm and copper plumbers piping is 12mm from origin! so u have no weak spots ^^

And this loop is only 300ML With 2x mcp355 can u imagine wink.gif
