and I don't care about cross chat and that little stuff. I mean finding quickly a good solid matches, if there is more hacking/cheating/lagging on one service or other ? Most of my friends either don't game or play diff games than I do. So being able to talk to someone across games ain't important to me. I'll play a select few titles online say like some popular fps like Cod/BF and maybe other popular online shooters. Is it worth the 60$ for live access ?

Other than the community features that live brings, PSN is just as good as live.
Both usually need ports forwarded to get the best experience, but will provide the same.

I have a ps3 and 360 and I have never had a problem with either. Same thing different look (except psn is free)

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think that the main difference is that MS own everything that is related to Live (except for EA server, cause they're that ***), while publishers must provide their own servers if they wish to use the PSN.
