GTX 680 MSI Lightning

Thread Starter
Is this the fastest GTX 680 right out of the box?, it says boost clock up to 1176 and it's the highest I've been able to find.

Was trying to see if any of these hit 1200 out of the box but they all on newegg are in the 1100's.

Every card is different and cards from different venders will hit this or higher. It's the luck of the draw no matter, however this particular card should do as advertised, as they hand pick winners in this case.

Yes it hits about 1202 out of the box. These are the fastest Keplers once overclocked and the only Keplers with true voltage control.

As long as you get what you want nothing is a bad choice, if you start asking opinions everyone interjects what they believe are important features that they value.

A 680 is a completely monster still, I might value a 670 more but that's my personal choice, and if you wanted a 680 you bought the best one. thumb.gif

Just don't ask on how it compares to the other high end cards in bang for buck department. tongue.gif

Mine boosts to 1215 MHz out of the box, and overclocks on air to 1340 Mhz with LN2 BIos air. so yes pretty much the fastest as of today's

Good choice and you have bought the best 680 IMO. I liked it so much, I swapped out my reference EVGA 680 and dropped in another LTG smile.gif
