[NOOB QUESTION] How to dismantle a NZXT Phantom?

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I'm looking to make major mods to my phantom and I always see a whole bunch of people that completely dismantle it to individual pieces. Im looking to do that, but i have 1 question: HOW? Im guessing there are rivets that you must drill out to dismantle it, but then how do you put it back together? Is it rivets? WHAT IS IT?

Unscrew and slide apart the components, most of the case should come apart. I'm not sure how far you are willing to go beyond that by dismantling rivets. Those who do, probably have tools to put new rivets/soder things back on.

Some of it is screws, but mostly rivets. You can then replace the rivets with more rivets, or screws when you reassemble.

I did exactly this when I reverse ATX'ed my Phantom. It's honestly not too hard. All you need is some free time and patience. Just be sure to remember where everything goes thumb.gif
