I need a good guide for Remote Network Boot via PXE.

Back story: My father bought a Dell mini for the SSD the owner upgraded it with. He gave me the rest; i.e., no HD.

I figured I could plug into the network and boot it off of an image somewhere. How do I go about this. I only has 2 GB of RAM, so I'm going to throw an SD card in it for some more storage; once I get the network image thing going. Is that even necessary or possible?

This is just for fun, no real reason, so I'll try anything. I don't feel like purchasing a ZIF PATA 1.8" drive ATM.

Thanks!

*Edit*, I should mention that I have a dedicated server, that just serves up media and backups. I can use that for the PXE image, DHCP server (just for the Dell, I let my router do the DHCP serving; normally).

If you have WIn2008 you have to install WDS. Then you have to create or load a disk image that will load during the PXE process...
