So in Biostar A770E3 bios, there's a setting:
DRAM Timing Configuration: Memory Clock Mode [Auto][Limit][Manual]
Limit "the speed will not exceed this value
and manual i guess is like 'it will be this value"
So what is the difference in these two? Does anyone know? I just know that Manual mode causes some huge stability issues, but with Limit I haven't had a problem for 2 years.
Anyways these values refer to the memory ratio.
Also, what is Channel Interleaving and Bank Interleaving? Anything I find on both of these is years old, back when ddr2 was the rage. I can't really understand what they do. For reference, I'm running dual channel, unganged, 2x2GB Kingston HyperX 1333mhz RAM. i've looked forever on these things, found some stuff on it, but doesnt really explain anything and not sure if what i found was relevant anymore.
