Hello folks, just thought I'd say hello. So....Hello! 
Ok, I dabble quite a bit with computers and have been doing so for roughly 20 years. My current rig is sig'd for your viewing pleasure. I came to this site after being a loyal member to another site for a long time (10+ years). Though I'm still active there, the views expressed, and even their answers are becoming a little stale and to be frank, predictable. Undoubtedly, I feel the need for a fresh perspective as technology keeps moving forward.
I am retired Army.
I was a Army ICU (burn) nurse and now live in a Chicago suburb. I have kids with my oldest a combat veteran herself and my son is a West Point Candidate. The third child (another son) is a computer geek like his old man 
Oh yeah, I'm married over 23 years to my best friend. That's enough personal stuff.
