CCC Custom Installation Question

Hey Overclockers biggrin.gif

So I did a reinstall of windows 7 and have all my drivers installed etc. with the exception of AMD drivers for my XFX 6970. My normal method is to just click express and let the installer do its thing automatically but decided to take a look at the custom installation process.

This image I pulled from the web but this is the screen in question however disregard what is on the list as mine is different:

Ok so I use a single 60 hz 24 inch LCD monitor via DVI in the Single link DVI slot of my GPU and have a sound card so I don't really need anything for HDMI.

This is what is on my installer list and was just wondering what if I all I didn't need...just trying to keep the bare minimum on my system for now:

-AMD Catalyst Manager (needed I assume)
-AMD Display Driver (needed obv)

here are the ones I am curious about:

-HDMI/DP Audio Driver (based on my setup I figure there is no need for this)
-AMD APP SDK Runtime (wat? no clue little help on this one)
-AMD Drag and Drop Transcoding (also have no clue about this one here)
I believe the last was the AMD Media Foundations (no clue here as well)

Oh and it is 12.8 as 12.10 and 12.11 beta were not playing nice and didn't seem to help with 6xxx series cards.

Anyway thanks for reading fellas biggrin.gif

no problem, i had to today revert to 12.8 as 12.10 was giving me some screen flashing at stock\idle speeds and had to roll back to 12.8
