He is right dude, my Phenom 2 x6 is holding back my 5850 crossfire quite a lot and only really forces 99% GPU usage in a few games, it's really struggling these days to push them and a 7970 is faster then 5850 Crossfire.

There's a chipset bottleneck with multi-GPU setups that's holding you back more than your CPU is. If you had a single card as fast as your 5850 CF (I guess that would be a 7950?) you'd see your bottleneck disappear. Would you get frame rates as high as Intel systems? No. But there wouldn't be much of a bottleneck, if at all.

The chipset is a problem for crossfire setup. The only game that i cant push 100% my gpu is gta iv and sc2.
