No one should be nervous about this, in all probability the same 0.1% (1 in 1,000) will be faulty units just like last time. Unless this is a 1st-batch issue.
Not in this thread perhaps, but most H100 owners are not even aware a pump grinding-noise-issue has ever even existed. I've talked to them in other forums and they have no idea this ever occurred. But please everyone installing new units this weekend and the coming days let us know your results. Will post mine with install pics and thermals Wed or Thurs next week.

I have the H100 and dont hear much.

Some of the reviewers did receive their units before they showed up retail. They all left the warehouse the same day. Normally we fly review units over and put retail units on a boat. This gives you 3-4 weeks for reviews to get published. Due to the seasonal timing (before black friday, xmas shopping season, etc) we decided to fly a lot of these units over, enough to seed the channel with inventory. So we basically got reviewers their units a few days before they showed up for purchase at retail, meaning that some people are working on their reviews now.

Reviewing a cooler can take a day or two, assuming you have absolutely nothing else to do, and it's not like review sites sit around twiddling their thumbs, so they'll get stuff published. Early comments I've heard back are very promising, but I knew that, because I've been working on these for months now.

i have lots of faith..i cant wait till microcenter starts stocking them..i can exchange my h100 for the i that i just bought that had a fan controller issue..but after researching..it was old stock that never got returned to the manufacturer..so im not mad..gives me a reason to go back for some more goodies..even tho its over an hour drive..but that store is better then the egg..well alot i mean alot cheaper on there processers and motherboard combos. spoiler; 3770k is 269 and if you buy a z77 board you also get 40 off that.
