Already have it:

http://www.corsair.com/en/corsair-link/corsair-link-kits/corsair-link-cooling-node-552.html

It comes with three RGB LED strips, and can be plugged into the H80i/H100i directly for additional case lighting.

We're looking at expanding that offering in the future, as well.

Nothing's off the table, but I can't comment on any unannounced parts right now.

Also, you're saying your idle temps were lower on air, was that at the same ambient temp?

Its my MSI Z77A-G65 software

Here's a pic of real Temp

Excellent! The page is not very descriptive, however, so if you don't mind, could you describe what those RGB LED strips are like? I can't find any definitive info on them, how long they are, how they attach (in series? in parallel? both?) And finally, only 3 strips are included into this package, no "connection cables", right? (whatever those are!)

Thanks again!!

Edit: just read that the strips are very short, and now I wonder if I also need to get additional cables to connect them to the pump and each other?

For those who want it another review : TastyPC

Hi OCN! Some great info in this thread, been following it since I started looking into alternative cpu cooling for my first build. She's only been running for a month or so, but I figured I'd jump in an switch out the stock intel fan as soon as possible. Went with the new H100i of course, going into my C70 with an i7 3770k on an ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe mobo. Installation seemed like a breeze, watched a few install vids including Stevo's, but I've run into a few concerns I figured I'd share here before I continue. Keep in mind I'm also completely new to building PC's redface.gif

1) Pre applied TIM - I've measured the amount on the cooler block and it will cover the entire cpu and then some, basically the cpu & socket will be swimming in TIM. MeanBruce and a couple people on the corsair forums say there is way too much, this is obvious to me. Should I remove some to ensure no leaking/overflow onto the mobo/socket or should I wipe it clean and go with another brand TIM?

2) Backplate / Standoffs - While mounting the backplate & standoffs I've noticed it doesn't sit snug at all against the motherboard, I could probably fit a penny between the standoffs & mobo. I'm using the correct supplied 1155 standoffs. I've looked through several threads on corsairs forums stating the same problem from people using different motherboards. Most people with this problem recommend using plastic washers between the backplate & nuts going through the motherboard. However several people don't recommend this, stating it's the way it is designed and when the cooler is seated, the thumbscrews should pull both pieces so it sits snug. Someone was even instructed by corsair customer service that they might need a universal backplate.

http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109596

Anyways, just my luck, I decided to install the day before thanksgiving so now I'll have to brave the black friday mobs if I decide to head to the store tomorrow for some TIM & washers biggrin.gif I may end up just going for it and seeing how things turn out but FIRST, I will be filling my belly with a delicious turkey dinner! Thanks and happy thanksgiving OCN!

What does this mean?!?!

CorsairLink2H100iTempRed.png

I was playing Skyrim for a few hours and all of the sudden I hear the H100i fans ramp up like something was about to explode so I quickly minimized to see what my temps were and they were only around 30C-35C and the max temp over the hours that I had been playing was around 45C.

Both of my H100i fans are set to "Balanced" which is supposed to be 1300 RPM's but they are running at "2189" RPM's on the dot (not fluctuating according to the software) although it doesn't really sound loud enough to be that many RPM's.

Also I noticed the pump RPM's has gone down... it used to be over 2000...

And of course the H100i Temp is blinking red at 0 degrees.. What does this mean?

I have rebooted twice now and nothing has changed.

I assume you're running the 1.0.4 firmware?

I would try to re-flash it.

Otherwise, that's a really weird one, sounds like it went dead or something. If re-flashing it or uninstalling, rebooting, then reinstalling the software doesn't fix it, please send me a synopsis at redbeard@corsair.com

We're off until next week, but if your unit died I want to get it back (we'll pay shipping and all that) so we can figure out what the hell happened. In the months and months of testing I've never seen that happen.

Yes I was running 1.0.4 firmware but I did as you suggested and reinstalled Corsair Link 2.2.0 and it's working like it should again.

CL2Fixed.png

Thanks for the help!! Hopefully that never happens again.

P.S. - what is that Device Software it wants me to install? What is that for and is it required for the H100i?

EDIT: It's been 17 minutes since I posted this and my H100i Temp 1 is up 1 degree to 25.8C. I'm about to start playing Skyrim and I will check frequently to see what its doing but what should it be at normally?

EDIT2: Just played Skyrim for over an hour and my H100i temp went up to 26.9C and when I quit playing it started to drop closer to 26C. I think all is well now but I will be sure to report back if anything strange happens.

Hi George, not sure why my AX860i’s fan is spinning up at 94watts unless there is a thermal component to threshold activation. Cannot hear the fan unless it spins up to 700 to 800 rpm, and it does for very short bursts less than a second, not sure why, when it could easily cool the part with less rpm and a little more active fan time. It just whips up to 768rpm and immediately back down again, accomplishing much of nothing, except making you look over at the rig. Sorry guys just posting here since George is hanging out.
Thanks man.
