Question though, why go through all the trouble? Was it simply for the looks of it or were you trying to improve performance?

Simply wanted it in a certain configuration and it was only doable with the compact pump in these Closed loop series (plus cheaper than most loops). I did it because I thought it'd get the end result. I wasn't looking for a cooling increase, I actually was just aiming to get close to stock cooling performance.

Mind you despite adding extra resistance through the loop and decreasing the overall fluid pressure (I have damn bubbles) the performance of it is pretty good. I bolted it down via screws and I get an OC on the CPU at of 4.6GHz with a voltage around 1.35 with UltraHigh LLC (the voltage is bad the) cooling is performing as well as it did with the stock cooler on stock settings.

Somehow on my last seating, I finally got great temperatures vs. so-so temperatures with previous seatings (very noticeable difference).

What's your temps? If you don't mind me asking. I'm going to try 4 extra rubber washers on the backplate to get a snug fit. ( Before adding the thumb screws and the block)

that is a bit high, something might be up with that h100i. I would def reseat to make sure.

my 2700k at 1.37V gets no hotter than 73C on the hottest core after 20 hours of prime95. The h100i is mounted as an intake at the top of my 600T with the 2 included SP120s.

I've reseated several times. Going to try to fix the back plate and try to get more contact with the block. Is there any way to see how much contact I'm getting to the IHS?

not really other than gauging contact from the shape/form of the TIM you applied imo

it might not help at all but try using some M3 sized washers around the thing (or M4) to give it some pressure at the bottom and top of the socket hole. MIght be a bad idea but it'll cost like 20 cents a washer (use nylon ones). Err you prob wanna use some [nylon washers] at the top as well to push the block down since you'll prob raise the stands.

We have a firmware tweak coming that should fix it.
