Windows 8 Fingerprint

So I decided to upgrade to windows 8 only to find I cant use my fingerprint reader anymore

Windows logon is fine that's not the problem, its website logon

I use to use Authentec True Suite which works fine in windows 7 but doesn't work with windows 8 properly

They do have the Protector Suite 2012 which works perfectly but due to the apple takeover I cant buy it!

I would really like to just be able to purchase the software but as I cant does anyone know a way around this? Anyone found any software that does work?

No it's my sig rig, dell USB fingerprint scanner (like an eikon), windows drivers work fine as well as drivers supplied with protector suite
