will this power a sli 8800gtx setup - Page 3

is there a power supply out there that will supply power for 2 8000gtx's in sli, that has the 4 6pin power cables that it will need?

I just bought a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817121012
for a new Dx10 /vista build that I'm doing and then I saw how hungry the 8800gtx's are and how many power connectors you need and my jaw hit the floor.

I have this same PSU in my current system powering two XFX oc 7800gtx's and it dose fine with the load.

I will be putting in 8800 or something comperable do I need to RMA my psu?

RMA? Erm.. what would that do? You break it.. RMA in.. and they send you a new one.....

And dishonest to boot..

You'd have to buy a new PSU I think.. Or use the addon PSU's..

newegg will let you RMA it for any reason dose not have to be broken.

I just did an rma for a ASUS M2N32-SLI and now I have done it for the psu as well. niether are good enough and I bought them with out doing the amount of reasearch that I should have. my new system will require a C2D and 8800's so newegg being newegg let me RMA them for a full refund - stocking fee. and I will get a new psu and mobo.. I still don't know wich mobo to get though or wich psu thinking I'm going to need a 1k psu and a i680 sli mobo. any suggestions not spending more than 350 for mobo and 300 for psu.
