Holy crap. Thanks for all the replies folks! I went with the 2011 socket because (and brace, noobs ahoy) is because I looked up the recommended mobos, saw the ASUS P9X79 and built around it. Socket 2011 just seemed like a more (and brace again) future proof idea.
Fact is, the thing is the fruition of a whole lot of google searches. If 120 GB isn't enough for a few games and Windows 7 on it, I'll upgrade, but I really thought it would be. Crossfire/Sli is down the road, if I need an upgrade. Feel free to beat the **** out of me tech wise
Is the Noctua ND-H1 thermal paste superior? And do I need a superior thermal paste? Not banking on OCing anything really. I'm the type that would **** it up and fry and egg on the CPU.Edited by lod531 - 11/5/12 at 11:29am
