Hmm, I don't remember that being promised? I think they said we'd get 1943, but that didn't occur because (my guess is) they had enough resources on BF3.

problem is, it encourages others to bash I dont know if youre a new member, or a new account, but if you stick around here, you will see why comments like that get old quick. Lots of bandwagon haters on this forum.

As for BF 1942... I dont have origin on my work rig, gonna have to wait until tonight. Anyone know if it registers to your account for future use? Are there servers still up for this game?

Apologies if I came off harsh, it's just frustrating when ever I come into a 'good news' thread to see it filled with negativity. Especially when it isn't directly related to the topic at hand.

This game pretty much revolutionised open world land/sea/air multiplayer warfare.

I need to re-prioritise my diary to play this.

I tried getting back into 2142 about three months ago (best BF ever released IMO) but for some reason the server list was empty. Not sure why, I think it must have been a bug. I hope this one works slightly better.

The link doesn't seem to do anything for me. Just takes me to the free games page which it isn't listed on. Do you have to actually have Origin installed to get it to work?
