The resolution fix did not work for me. I set the files to read only and it still does not do 1080p. It changes back my read only files and then I deny permissions to write and it still doesn't work. frown.gif

The tablet has an AMD Z-01 APU which has dual-core 1GHz Bobcat CPU cores and an 80SP HD6250 GPU. This is probably going to be one of the most entertaining games the tablet can run. For reference, it has 4GB DDR3 RAM and I upgraded the SSD from the stock slow 32GB to a Crucial M4 128GB mSATA.

This sounds awesome!

That is very strange. I had some problems with the resolution reverting to 640x480 in the Video.con file on my MSI WindPad 110W tablet. I fixed it by making it read only, that isn't working for you for whatever reason. It was pretty strange because the first time I did the changes it worked but the second time I played the game it reverted to 640x480. With the mods it definitely looks better at the native res of 1280x800.

For my desktop I didn't have any problems with it work at 2560x1600. I'll have to see if I have any problems in the future, I might have to make it read only as well. Sorry your having issues. I hope you figure it out.

Thanks, I think it's pretty cool too. The tablet can also run Portal just fine (I'm going to try more games on it shortly). It has downsides to ARM based 10" tablets (such as weight and battery life) but it has so many up sides like app compatibility, customization, and upgradeability. I got an insane deal on it open box from Newegg and the thing is extremely modular with upgradable SSD, RAM (max 8GB), and wireless card. I'm also really liking Windows 8. It is extremely well made for touch devices.

I'm now playing the game with supersampling it certainly works pretty well, it looks a lot better now, without aliasing or the blurry text

as for bobcat running the game, it's doesn't surprise me, you could play BF1942 with a Geforce 2 and a sub 1GHz pentium 3.
