Help finding best sub-$400 laptop

Hi, looking to get a cheap laptop, not sure whether to go for an i3 or AMD APU.

Price/Performance, what's the best way to go for a buget laptop?

What will you be doing with this laptop?

Nothing special, just web browsing, HD video, maybe some audio engineering/protools. Just looking to get the best bang for my buck.

It seems like the A6-3420 is a good choice - quad core with good performance when up against the i3-2xxx offerings, and better video performance.

I'm very limited on my research in this area. I mainly used http://www.notebookcheck.net to compare them. CPU performance it looks like the i3-2370M is better then A6-3420.

I see people say 6520G performance is better then HD 3000, however when I check NoteBookCheck comparison tool the benchmarks show they are very close. Both are very poor performance compared to any discrete video card, however since you're not gaming either should be good. I expect to see better quality and drivers from AMD graphics.
