Since when has market share have a direct connection to profit? It has an INDIRECT connection, but not direct.

Apple still has a big piece of the pie. Android is not as profitable for their manufacturers as iOS because they occupy smaller markets while Apple still holds a firm grip on the sales. Also, if the market is being saturated with tablets, market share will decrease.

I'm not trying to start a political argument here but I wonder how the outcome of the presidential election affected sales, if at all.
