H100 vs H100i - Page 4

Got a 3570k @ 4.4GHz with 1.23v
In Prime95 it spikes to max 77 degree Celsius (hottest core) with my h100 at low fanspeed settings. Not using very good fans either. 2 Xigmatek 1253 on there (edit: in pull)

Dunno if this is average though, haven't looked at how others perform.

Hello guy n galls, do you think I can install this right under neath the 230 top fan in my HAF 932? In other words I rather not take out the top fan, but install this water cooler underneath it? I appreciate any info or if anyone has done this>

I've got the H100 installed in the HAF X under the top fans. Just 1 set of fans on the rad, as well as the top case fans. i7 860 oc'd to 4ghz idles around 35c when it's warm in my room.

What fans are you using?
Wil coolermaster excalibur fans work on the H100i rad. I was thinking of using the excaliburs as push and the stock fans that cames with the h100i as pull. I am using a haf X case. Or i was thinking of using the excalibur just as push and the fans on the top of my haf x as pull. They are Coolermaster mega flows.

Give my some advise please.

The orther issue that might came a long is.

I am using the MSI Z77A GD65 read on this orther forum this dude is using the same bord as me.

He said he was using push and pull in he' hafx but after he upgraded he's board to the MSI Z77A gd65 the heatsink on the board was to tall so he had to remove hes push and pull setup. He said it was only a 2C difference in hes temps after removing the one set of fans.

Overall package temp? You mean normal load temps, like in gaming? So far it never went over 45, but I haven't played very intensive games on it yet.

Dam that's cold is that on full load?
Like I said, that's with a game like LOL which isn't that intensive. In Prime it peaks to 77 but is normaly around 65.

Edit: room temp isn't that high either, around 18-19 degrees I'm guessing.

I'll be posting some data on the h100i with push/pull (2 x SP120L [stock H100i fans] and 2 x SP120HP).

Currently running an i72600K@4.4 on a Hyper212+ with SP120HP push/pull. It does 68C in Prime95 and is on 1.256v load.
Let's see if I can get it to 4.8Ghz+ with the new H100i, should be here any minute now.

J.
