Hey all,
I was wondering what type of performance gain I would see if I bought he H100i vs the H100 push pull with stock fans and 2 gt- ap15s. I have a 3770k at 4.5 and a 800d case. Would it be worth it for the H100i? Please answer!!!!
The "i" series looks to be a very nice upgrade ... WITH NO ADDITIONAL PRICE HIKE!
George, if your out there can you post the specs on the fans? OR are they the same as the Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition High Static Pressure 120mm Fan @ Speed: 2350 RPM / Airflow: 62.74 CFM / Static Pressure: 3.1 mm/H20 / Sound Level: 35 dBA
And for all others asking ... can you change the "color rings"?
EDIT: looks to be a slightly different variation of the SP120 above ... Corsair specs [HERE]
•Fan speed: 2700 RPM
•Fan airflow: 77 CFM
•Fan dBA: 37.68 dBA
•Fan static pressure: 4mm/H20

3*c can easily be margin of error for the common user in getting a bad seat. Just going to throw that out there. Go look at some water block round ups that average 5 seats. Any performance gain will be minimal.
Here is a link to a picture of 5 mounts with the largest variation being about 2*c
I highly doubt this thing will cool my cpu 5 degrees less but even if it does whats the point? I'm running a 3770k at 4.6ghz and my max temperatures are 65c. It's definitely not worth the upgrade plus I like the controller that lights up on my H100 at the moment.
I would recommend getting a regular H100 thats on sale right now. Going to save yourself a lot of money and aren't going to see a difference in performance.
Nope, just 8 fan screws are included. But you can always use 2 for each fan in opposite corners. Dont new fans come with fan screws though?
Also, anyone have suggestions on fans for the push / pull configuration?
As they are being used against the radiator, you will want fans with HIGH STATIC PRESSURE. Something like Corsair's SP120 will be fine, they will work better than air flow fans as they are pushing air through a tight space over the fins which benefits from increased SP.

What 120mm fans with HSP (high static pressure) should I be looking for?
