Safe Laptop Temperatures for 24/7? - Page 2

Thanks for the responses guys. General word seems to be its safe. Either way I turned off turbo boost just because my room was getting sort of hot hehe... I'll turn it on again when winter hits in full tongue.gif It's running at 75 now.

90*C is fine. Your machine is reaching temperatures that aren't going to kill it. I would invest in a cooler if you're THAT worried about it. The Cooler Master U2 is a good choice. smile.gif

Well the temps arent hot but to be running that near 24/7? That can't be good... thinking.gif

It's no more detrimental to run a laptop that warm than to run your desktop CPU at 60*C under max load 24/7. tongue.gif
