Like I said that was only that high in prime after 24 hours. But did have to use 1.525volts so I put it down to the mobo which I'm now in the process of swapping for a Asus crh formula z .

Very nice build. Yes, I can't wait till you get that new motherboard in. Should make a world of difference.
I really like that case.

Weird... You should even be able to get 4.5ghz with 1.425v...

What's you CPU/NB at? If you're having stability issues, drop that down to 2000-2200mhz with 1.3v.

I have the same CPU and chipset series... err mine is the Gigabyte 990FX UD3 but still, that should change much. They're both 8+2 phase power boards...

So try these settings and let me know...

CPU Freq 4.4-6ghz
CPU vcore 1.45 (Try 1.425 first)
CPU/NB Freq 2200mhz
CPU/NB voltage 1.3-1.325 (You may not even need to adjust this voltage)

And what RAM are you using? From what I've looked at, the RAM speeds can't run higher than the CPU/NB freq, I could be wrong.

Honestly, there is something wrong... Because like I said, my system only got to 49c after 12 hours of F@H 100%. Then only 49c after 3 hours on AIDA 64 stress test at 4.7ghz 1.45v.

Just out of interest how was your experience with overclock.co.uk ? i usually use the other site with similar name.... overclockers.co.uk but their RMA sucks bad and i always wondered what overclock.co.uk was like, site seemed a bit thin on the ground last time i checked it, i was unsure of ordering from them.

I got it in the end off amazon as it was £10 cheaper and they garanteed me next day by 1pm delivery for £5.

that cpu is probably bottle necking that 680, might want to get a 3570k instead

Nice build though:thumb:
