It's always been there just look at the original pics and specs.

Running now at 4.6ghz I've also managed to lower the voltage to 1.39 now the temps don't exceed 41c under prime ..

Awesome. That sounds right on the mark, for settings.
Very nice build.

Thanks buddy, funny thing is my 1237 batch FX8350 dont like the multi being put past 22?

So i found the best way to OC it with the most stable and quickest results is to set the FSB at 230 and leave the multi at 20 this gives me a stable of 4.6ghz, memory at 1840mhz, cpu v at 1.41v, dram v at 1.5v. With this i can do 100 passes on IBT (standard) and temps never go above 41C.

That sounds correct to me! Mine didn't like multiplier either. FSB was nice to get my RAM to it's sweet spot also. Now I need to try getting the voltage down tongue.gif

This is a great video about thermal paste.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hNgFNH7zhQ

I got mine at 4.9ghz on 1.47v. Idle temps are at 39-40C and never go past 50C. The big thing for me was adjusting the LLC. By minimizing the droop I was able to bring down the voltage a lot.

Nice setup.

This has inspired me to do the same with my watercooling loop using the below items i will post results here but it may take a few weeks, i will be drilling through an external wall in my office which faces my back graden that wall has a 5 ft overhanging roof like a porch but is open on all sides to the air so its ideal for it, i will mount the rad using 2 large wall brackets.
