Question about the Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge and ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77

I have just ordered this combo from new egg and I am worried. I have read from a few of the reviewers (not that it is very credible) but a few have said that the board does not support 4 sticks of ram.....and that it only supports kits with 2 sticks. I currently have CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) and I am worried that it will not work in my new board with my new cpu....

Anyone have any insight on this?

You don't need to worry, I own an Asus Sabertooth Z77 / i7 3770L / Corsair 4x4GB Vengeance low profile and they all work well together. And the sabertooth Z77 definately has 4 ram slots. I am very pleased with my purchase and would happily make the same choice again given the chance smile.gif

4 slots are for 4 sticks of ram, your good there, nothing to worry, its frequently advice 2 sticks because of over budgetary limitation & still supports dual channel, since you can afford to fill them up and your going to need it, then by all means.
