So in reality they should compare iPad 16Gb to this not 32Gb.

what you guys fail to realize is that the general public does not know as much as you geniuses.

if the average joe goes and buys a device that is advertised as 32gb, he is expecting that he can put 32gb worth of stuff on it. he hasnt calculated in his head how much space the OS takes up, or assumed that the 32GB is BEFORE the OS. the general public probably doesnt care/realize that their computer is like this simply because when the HDD is 500+GB that few gigs windows takes up is irrelevant

my 32gb ipod has pretty close to 32gb free, if it was 16gb, people would feak the hell out.

so yea, i understand why people are upset. if you dont have anywhere near 32GB of free space, dont advertise it as a 32GB model!

(I would be interested to know how much free space a 32GB ipad has on it)

I have one and can (obviously) confirm this. However, the MicroSD slot means I don't really care. I won't be filling up the 16GB with apps and if I need that much media I can have expandable and swappable storage. A small price to pay for the initial 16GB. I love that I can actually use the Surface for work and not just play like my iPad.

Well in iPad just 3 apps i have take 5.3GB. If you download Apps and Keep 16GB can be filled. In second had even if you wanted all Windows apps together dont make 16Gb jk.

Like you had seriously planned on getting said product in the first place.
And to the above post; that's boss, steep price but definitely worth it for a digital artist.

Considering that for the past 10 years, Wacom Penabled devices have been pegged at 1200x800, 1366x768 with just 256 levels of pressure sensitivity.

And guess what, back then? Each cost $1200 brand new. This is a very worthy refresh and it'd basically made the Cintiq 10.1 obsolete.

I say we cut out all internal storage to devices like this and cut the cost down on the consumer.
For the price they prolly charge you for that 32gb, u could probably pick up a 64gb SD card at half the price.
