Hooking up Ps3 to Yamakasi

Thread Starter
I'm having some trouble trying to hook up my Ps3 to the Yamakasi screen. The yamakasi has a dual dvi and nothing else.
So I bought an adapter dual dvi to hdmi; However, there is no picture being displayed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is the video settings set up for hdmi?

From the power off state hold the power button till it turns off then normally turn it on.

Don't those monitors not have built in scalers? I don't think it will work.

Doubt a PS3 would output 1440P in the first place and the fact that the Yamakasi won't scale the images back to 1080P isn't going to help.

In my opinion the PS3 is best used with a TV so you can lie down and enjoy a nice movie or game, especially when you're as lazy as me and can't be bothered to sit on my crappy chair. tongue.gif
