So, what's the best way to fold a fermi now?

Thread Starter
Title says it all. I have a GTX 460 folding 24/7 and dedicated. I've tried a little bit of flags. -beta, -big. and checkpoint interval 3. No beta flag seemed better, but trying advmethods.

best way is to set advmethods and overclock the crap out it, other then that there is nothing else you can do unless you upgrade the little beast to a 500 series which about a year or two ago my MSI GTX570 TF2 overclocked to 900/2300mhz spat out close to 16k PPD if left on 24/7.

But the 560Ti's are a better price per PPD compared to the others as long as you can hit 1ghz on the core stable.

EDIT: ok well used to be teh 560 Ti but idk exactly anymore, its been a while since I have folded especially with the version 7 client.

if v6
-betateam

if v7
client-type
beta

this will allow you to get the 8057 wu's for a pretty decent jump in ppd. I'm seeing 120k ppd on my 570
