also... I have an AC NV Silencer5 on my BFG 6800GT.
Download this to tell use your temps and give us a screenshot of the APPLICATION :

Speefan : http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

ASUS PC PROBE:http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...PC-Probe.shtml

Also within your Nvidia Drivers there should be a temp sensor reading of your GPU can you tell us what it is at 100% load ( After playing a game )

Ok Well the CPU temp is Fine ( However could be lower but that temp wont cause an issue ).

Your Chipset temp is also fine As are your PSU voltages.

You can rule out the system temps and PSU imo.

Well with your Current CPU temps at idle No I wouldnt reccomend OC'ING until you have gotten better cooling.

That monitoring program is indicating that the fan in your power supply isn't functioning. Is that really the case? If it is.. that's a likely culprit. If you have another PSU available, I'd change it and test to see if that's the problem.

just out of curiousity, did you install all the drivers for your system? For a while my system was really unstable even at stock just like you, and it turns out that it was because I hadn't installed my 4-in-1 chipset driver. This driver includes usually your AGP driver, which will increase stability cause it won't be the generic windows one.

if you run prime95 you can stress the just the cpu (as much as possible) stress teh ram and cpu or generate as much heat as possible. THis could help you diagnose if it is infact a heat problem. Also when under load watch the 12v rail on you psu to see if it fluctuates

thank you all for the suggestions... as I thought, last night I was playing battlefield2142 to get gpu temps. then bam! system froze... a bunch of little squares with colors. I have to hold down the power button in order to shut down. yes I installed all drivers for my m-board. just a note I feel that all this started when I updated the nvidia drivers... maybe my video card is jacked up? downloading prime95...

quick question: the fan for the gpu(NV_Silencer5), should it be blowing the air out, or sucking the air in?
