@Chronubis, If your having major issues and cant figure it out, dont delid. Work through the issue. If its the chip, RMA. More info on your issue please?

lol i've been around computers all my life, and that guy is right it looks easy.

however I am going to stick to overclocking the other way, as I have tuning protection and no matter how I mess up the cpu, it will be fine.

but yes sometime in the future when my 4.8 dont cut it I will try to delid before getting a new processor, but that will be a while so yes, y2kcamaross I will take my time and learn up on it.

btw I have done something similar to delidding befor, just never on a cpu
