Hi, if that thing is heavier and bigger than a Verizon HTC Thunderbolt then I would say it is mostly fair. Is it possible some people will get over the size? Sure I use an otterbox on all my phones so they are all pretty huge. But honestly when I had the thunderbolt it was difficult to use with one hand and sometime you really had to use both hands to do some things. I do not have small hands nor are they huge they are just big and so big phones normally don't botther me.

Maybe the guy reviewing it has tiny girl hands. He also seems very focused on the fact that it is huge and talks about it non stop. So either it is really that huge or that guy is a tard.

One thing I would say is don't go ordering this thing online. Go to the store ask to see one that is not secured to a tether and actually handle it a lil bit. If they have a dummy phone (fake) go ahead and put it in your pocket if it is a brand new out the box phone have some respect and try not to scratch it.

WOW... I feel you are little upset about my answer or frustrated at least "sorry but i didn't post this here to ask whether i should consider it"

Maybe I read that wrong and there is no frustration in your message but if there is I would say something along the line of cool it. There is no reason why you should be upset with me.

I answered your original question and I apologize that I added more to it than you originally asked. I would suggest if someone gives you more information than you needed that you disregard the extra info and just go with the info you where looking for.

I said "So either it is really that huge or that guy is a tard". If you needed a more direct answer like YES or NO I am sorry I elaborated on my reply. I don't usually just post a yes or no to any question.

So in being that I can't elaborate I say YES it is a fair review.

Cheers

If you where not frustrated at all I apologize for reading it that way.

I just read the review and from what I can tell it's a very good and durable phone with a good OS and hardware... that weighs too much for brittle geek hands ... I'm sorry, but this is exactly the rubbish they call reviews now.

If you think it's too heavy, you say so in the review, you caution people to try it out before buying. But you don't completely disregard a phone because of it .... seriously .IMHO, no it's not a fair review. Now stop looking up reviews because there are so many bad ones nowadays, go to a shop and try one out to see how it fits in your hand. It's a darn good phone which I would've bought if I didn't need to buy one sooner. (PS Nokia: I would still buy one if you made it brown, regardless of price)

EDIT: To get an idea of the the 920's weight I put my brother's S3 w/ Otterbox on a scale: 196 g ... Don't get me wrong, it's heavy but a good heavy IMHO, Definitely not in the "OMG, my arms are about to fall off, this phone is rubbish" - heavy category.

I am going to go out on a limb here. I bet the phone is a bit heavy. But compared to the iPhone what isn't?
I am thinking this is a phone you need to hold, fondel, kick the tires. You will either love it at first touch or hate it just as fast.

Myself; I would love to take it for a test drive. If it does have some of the bakelite feel some of the commentators chirp about that could be a good thing. I love my Sensation XE but it is thick and I have it in a ribbed case for pleasure Ah I mean for protection. Its case even saved my life once if I may slightly exaggerate a bit. So when I hold my wifes Sony Arc S it feels like a toy, thin and curved wrong. But she loves it so.

And I do have girly small hands, that is not the issue. I like a solid chunk of tech in my pocket. If they make a phone out of carved Titanium I will buy it.

Does that answer your question at all? No. But I had fun.
I think he is harping too much and making a mole out of a mountain.

This guy clearly had hard time finding anything bad about Lumia 920 so he had to resort to weight argument. 920's weight is for reason, it has wireless charging built in, OIS and large battery. He could have said "This phone is pretty heavy but that's not going to be a problem for all people, you should try it in store". Instead he said that it's completely unusable and he wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Makes me question about Gizmodo's motive, why would they let man who's unable to be objective make reviews. Comments are funny read, almost everyone bashes his review.
