I hope the comes to consumers quick.
I am a bit tired of seeing really cool technology breakthroughs but the reading on, discovering that it will be another 5-10 years before we actually get it or never hearing from it again.

Great on the power consumption. The speed, while great, will still be bottlenecked by the slowest point in the network (usually the ISP speeds).

Yea I'm hoping mobile device companies come banging down the door of the bandwidth barons with this. Hoping, I say, but more like dreaming.

if you download at 300megabytes per second, unless the storage unit can support the speeds, it'll be limited to whatever the storage unit can store, creating a bottleneck
