I used to play Halo 2 and 3 in high school and after reading a lot about this game I finally decided to force myself into going to a midnight release. I really wanted to give this game a chance at bringing back the memories I had of playing with friends after school. I was surrounded by kids about the age I was during Halo 2 and 3 so I felt really ackward. I then went home and started playing the game and I believe that it has everything that I have hoped for. None of my friends were on as we all have college and jobs now but even playing alone was absolutely amazing. The perks have returned from Reach as well as a few others but I forgot they were even in the game. As soon as I picked up the controller I felt like I was playing the old school games. I will definitely be playing this game for a really long time and I refuse to believe anything that people post about this game not being good. If you are skeptical then go rent it isntead of just throwing it under the bus. A lot of time and money was put into this game, at least give it a chance.

I remember a time when games that got 60% ratings were still worth playing, anything above 70% was good, 80% was great and 90-100% was a myth. This kind of makes me sad that a game with a rating of 87% is no good? What?

I planned on getting this game on launch day until a friend of mine, who still owes me for a concert I took him to, ordered it for me off Amazon. I'll be getting my copy tomorrow and, quite frankly, I cannot wait. Totally stoked for this game, and I've heard nothing but awesome things so far. Time to grab the ol' can o' air and dust off the Xbox thumb.gif
