Paracord 550, Never sleeved before

So I've never sleeved before however I always thought it looked cool and could really make a rig look beautiful. I heard somewhere(cant remember) that the outer sleeve of paracord 550 is a good and cheap method for sleeving. I've never sleeved before and I was hoping to find some tips on how to sleeve specifically with paracord, whether It's a good idea and what tools and materials I might need. I found some ACU/UCP pattern paracord lying around and was going to practice on some cable one weekend soon, however I wanted to know what to do specifically regarding paracord as I don't want to mess anything up.
