I run a unraid server to house my media and the htpc utilizes plex and windows media center. I even downloaded air video to stream my library to my ipad and other devices while away from home but I have been having trouble.
I assume my troubles come from port forwarding and it seems alittle difficult for me to fix due to my network setup. I live in a split house with two networks.
My landlords have Comcast and their owner netgear n150 router they ran a network cable to my side of the house where I connected my own router (netgear n600) to get a better wifi connection.
How would I go about setting up my movie library to be accessible via plex and air video when away from home?
