I'm not a fan of the way Sense works or how they modify the apps. There are certain features that are definitely appreciable, but they are outweighed by the ones I don't like.
However, that is on the Android side. I would love to try some of their other, newer Windows phones to give a true judgment (wasn't a fan of the Titan 4G). I had a Tilt by HTC when Windows Phones were still PDA-like and abysmal, and even still, I liked that phone. So much I got the Tilt right after using a Tytn. Really, these are just my opinions smile.gif. Feel free to ignore me, though, as I'm just rambling rolleyes.gif.

One X is lovely, Sense 4.0 and 4.5 coming on the One X+ are much less intrusive than they used to be. If you really don't like them, you can use an AOSP ROM for fun smile.gif

Ontopic: Not excited to support the launch >_<</div>

I'm always open to try new things smile.gif. I'll check it out once it hits. I'm guessing the 'One X+' is a new phone coming out pretty soon, here? And yes, a modern HTC phones is definitely a phone that would have made me finally dive into rooting.

Finally, I can upgrade from my Nokia E71 smile.gif

November 9th cant come soon enough. (its going to be like living in the future!) I just hope that Win 8 will get all the apps I will be wanting. It seems like it will seeing how well the Surface took off.

Exciting!

P.S. the 920 is an AT&T exclusive for 6 months. just fyi

One X+ is released overseas, not sure when it's coming to the US but it is available. I have to do tech support for the 920 which is what I wasn't excited for - not interested in Windows 8 whatsoever.

That is the exact phone my wife has. She has been hardcore iphone...until now. She is actually excited about the info she has read on the Lumia 920. I am a current, and happy, Andoird user. I enjoy the OS and the customization it offers. I would like something with a more reliable OS support like what iOS offers. From what I have been able to tell (without getting the device in my hands to play with it) W8P seems to be a nice compromise of the two other choices.

I think Microsoft has a good chance of making up much ground as long as they support these devices and continue to make good strides in the devices put to the market.
I can't wait to play with it. If I don't like it, I will just wait for BB10 to come out and see what else has happened to Android and W8P's in that time.

Yeah, that's the issue I'm having. The phones still perfectly fine. Probably will end up like my sig rig.
