Also, no, my statement about 30FPS is not subjective.
There is a difference between FPS and response time.

Having to take my thumb off the "aiming" stick means the game loses it's fluid feel. It's like taking your hand off your mouse to melee someone.
Skilled with a controller or not is not the debating topic. You just switched to "insulting" someone because they negated your prior point. Instead of having a healthy, and friendly conversation you decided to bash a person because they corrected you.

Yes, 30 FPS is subjective. The human eye can see between 60-90 FPS. If you've adjusted yourself to "30" FPS, 30 FPS will look fine. However gamers who have been playing at nothing less then 60 FPS for years will notice right away the "stuttering" and the "flipping" of frames. So yea, it's very subjective. I can tell the difference between 10-20 FPS. If my FPS drops below 60 I instantly feel it.

Take Need For Speed Shift for example. It runs at 30FPS on consoles, but it is very fluid. There is little input lag. Most games I see input lag in are actually on the PC. Yes, I may be playing a game at 60FPS on my PC, but it's not fluid because of the input lag.
At least they are better than you in respect. And probably skill too.

What is this nonsense? Our eyes do not see in frames at all... doh.gif

It's called an example. Do you not know what an example is?

I have not insulted anyone. They did not correct me, or I would have not said my observations about them.
The human eye can NOTICE framerate changes sometimes.

Skip to 1:40. Though I do recommend the full video.
The whole second part of your debate is subjective and has nothing to do with FPS.

Halo 4 is pretty smooth and consistent, so all this whining about frame rate is unjustified. Actually I find the whole snobbery of looking down on a game because of frame rate quite laughable. 30fps a slideshow? Lol no. Ive seen slideshows and that aint it. It's very much playable, and Input lag certainly isn't an issue. People need to stop making needless excuses to bash a game just because its the cool thing to do.

All I can say is if you're going to slam a game you have never played over points that dont affect enjoyability of the game in any way at all then its your loss.

this wouldn't be good as a console port anyways.
best way would be to re-write from the ground up for PC.

heck work out a deal with nVidia and add PhysX to the PC version.. biggrin.gif

anyways, back to reality, I guess I'm not playing because I sold my 360 last year..
rollin' with this Crysis 3 Alpha Trial now, not sure what to think.
I see potential..

Pretty much.

I see so many people bash console games but then they post their steam library that's filled with ports. Seems like they know where pc gaming is heading yet they deny it by sticking their head in the sand.

Thankfully, websites like kickstarter along with the indie developers are giving the pc platform some life.

The PC platform has always have had games released every month for it from a lot of developers/publishers.

On a lighter note. I played Planetside 2 and I must say. 20+FPS is more than playable. I was averaging 23FPS and I must say, as long as it stayed over 15FPS, it was smooth as butter.
