O_O you sure about that? because im sure any blizzard title would challenge your statement

Halo is really the last arena style multiplayer game still being made and selling. People should appreciate it if anything for that alone.

And honestly even Halo might be moving towards a more casual playstyle. Reach probabally had the most unbalanced multiplayer of any of the games. We'll see if 4 fixes the issues that plagued Reach's multiplayer and if 343 can get the play style more towards what made 2 and 3 so great in that regard.

LMAO! Mouse and keyboard a more precise in some circumstances. In most is does not change much. Halo is no where near moving to a more casual playstyle. Unless more complicated = more casual.

not surprising. xbox 360 is easier to setup, user friendly and not to mention the whole console + game costs less than a midrange video card.

Mouse and Keyboard are always more precise. And I don't see how you can even m ake the argument Reach didn't move towards a more casual/unbalanced playstyle. Bloom and armor lock alone basically ruined competitive play.

Don't be a fanboy. I agree that the core of Halo makes for a very good competitive game and I hope 4 is back to it. To deny that Reach moved away from that however is willful ignorance.

mouse is a good pointer, but the keyboard sucks at movement because the analogue joystick will always win at that.

Bold: Learn the definition of "fanboy" before you start claiming everyone in the world is a fanboy.
Mouse and keyboard "always" more precise? In RTS/TBS games. Always will be. FPS? Yes. RPG? No. MMO? Yes. Puzzle? On par. Action-Adventure? No. Racing? Never will be. Sports? Never will be. Simulation? On par.
Armor lock ruined competitive play? Yeah, for the people who were not skilled.

Not in racing games, nor fighting games, nor sports games.

Actually for fighting games I would say the keyboard is on par to the controller.

This, you can't beat what the 360 has to offer for less than the price of a capable GPU

You'll never beat a stick for movement control, whether on a control pad or a fight stick.

I dare say fight pads are better also. I do know some good keyboard players however any respectable player worth his salt would use a fight stick full stop.
