Good/Upcoming phones with under 4.3 inch screen, (not iphone)

Any good phones out there, preferably android, that have around 4 inches of screen size? I hate this new trend of gigantic screens, and I like to use my phone one handed. I currently have a nexus S which has a 4 inch screen, id probably go 4.3 inches, but it seems all the good phones coming out have atleast 4.7 inch screens. I really wanted to get the nexus 4, but I feel it might be too big. I recently held a galaxy nexus and I dont know how comftorable I would be using it as my daily device. From my the tip of my pinky to my thumb with my hand fully stretched is a little over 8 inches.

Theres the upcoming galaxy s3 mini, but the specs are pretty underwhelming for a new phone.

its so dissapointing, not everyone uses their phone as a 2 handed media device, or can always have 2 hands available to use their phone. The iphone 5 is the only 4 inch screen phone that isnt some budget spec phone. I was really counting on the galaxy s3 mini, but with 800x400 resolution screen and a 1ghz dual core its more of a side grade than an upgrade to my nexus s. I guess ill keep waiting.

I know exactly how you feel. I have been looking for much the same, in size of phone. The only phones I have seen come out in that size are the iphone 5 (never will I own an apple product), GS3 mini (agreed, specs blow, shouldn't even be called a galazy s3), and the low end Windows 8 phones.

IMO, the perfect size for a phone is the Atrix 2. Not sure if you have ever held one, but it is perfect, even with an Otterbox on it. The specs on it are descent, Tegra 2 dualcore, 1g RAM, 8g storage with SD slot, a removable battery, and a 8MP rear camera.

It is a year old phone, so it isn't new, but seeing as how you can pick them up on ebay for under $200, it may be something to look into. I didn't see you list a network but based on the phones you described, I am going to presume AT&T??? Which the Atrix 2 would work on. It just recently got upgraded to ICS from Moto, and there is a good bit of support from XDA wil some JB mods out there.

Other than that my friend, I think we are screwed...and not the happy "O" face kind either.

I really think that in the next year you will see some of these phones hit the market though. Likely 720p resolution, dual core, with a descent camera in a 4.0-4.3 inch screen.

As long as the bezel isn't massive that would be speectacular...
