Well G-cards can take alot more than a CPU However you will want to keep it under 80C.

Welcome to oc.net. Please fill out your system specs in the UserCP at the top of this page.

Im gonna say thier burst temp (should you try and falsh and have no fan) is about 98 for 3 seconds with no damage . Thats no recommended though...

You should be able to get alot out of the core of that card though. Keep it under 80 for everyday use.

what do you mean by burst temperature? When it shuts down? I flashed the 1st time and had no fan and had the cover on like an idiot. Didn't know I had no fan until the screen blacked out about a minute into launching a game , I rebooted it and then took the cover off. Now that I have fan control, I run my card at 550/631. It is an AGP(R481x850proVivo)unlocked to 16 pipes. My max temperature when scanning for artifacts is only 68-69c, only about 60 when I am gaming. You can get it pretty cool with fans. Take the side cover off usually drops the temp.

Ohhh..I do not know how hot it got , but seems that it must not have taken much damage. I sure was nervous when the screen blacked out.
