I downloaded and installed the new client. Had it setup for run on my cpu and both gpus. after running for around 40 minutes and blows my rig up. By that i mean anything and everything crashes, web browser wont run, explore wont run, nothing. It only happens when it s been running for a while. Not sure how to fix it. This happend when I was running on windows 7, I'm on windows 8 and I am not sure if I want to try again. Atleast not till i can get a clue as to why it was doing it before.

Perhaps try giving it ago again. I found reinstalling Windows almost always fixed FAH issues.

It seems like it kills java, or anything running on java. It gives me a CAIRO_STATUS_SUCCESS error, then anything i have that is running on java dies and will not open until reboot.

Have you tried running the CPU and GPU one at a time? If it crashes on one and not the other, try underclocking that one.
