[VRZ] New racing simulator costs as much as a real car - Page 2

That is absolutely horrible. There is nothing(functional) to that thing that justifies the price. This doesn't even fall under the "if I had money to burn" category. PC monitors for a display? Really? For even a tenth of that price I'd expect at least a 180 degree FOV collimated display. For the asking price I would demand that with 3 4x resolution projectors providing the image.

lets see....    a top of the line simxperience motion rig is about $6000, $3000 for a frex wheel, $1500 for cst pedals $500 for a frex shifter and DSD sequential shifter, $2000 for a pc and $1500 for monitors. a total of  less than $15000 i can make a better racing rig than that.

This is ridiculous. But I'm sure there will be at least one person who will buy it.

You also wouldn't get the thrill of driving a real sports car either, which is handy.

Underspecified and overpriced, looks like it's made to bait ignorant consumers who have more money than sense. The cockpit/case contraption is nice but useless in comparison to actual improvements like way bigger monitors or a seamless projector array and a physical feedback system. I'm not spotting a very convincing audio system either. And those small rear mirrors could've at least been miniature monitors that display the rear mirror image (although I doubt any games would use that and you'd be better off having your IRC or RSS feed on it, haha).

Come on now, you could get a real "computer on wheels" for cheaper, specifically a Tesla Model S.

I literally lol'd at the price...

- Screen should have been a large curved 48:10 screen, not 3 standard monitors with bezels.
- Hydraulics mandatory at this price

What is idiotic is the car has car parts besides the body, like brakes, and various composite and carbon fiber parts. Literally, more expensive than a real race car...

$2500 for the hardware excluding the car. Maybe $1000 will be enough for them with their R&D and actual production of each simulator. What $5000 max? GL with sales losers.
