Buy a second used monitor?

Thread Starter
So I was surfing around my local used website and found a monitor very similar to mine at a decent asking price.
Basically just looking for some input as to possible issues with them being slightly off etc.
I know my card sucks (for 1080p at least), it's getting replaced very soon. I know they aren't 120hz yada yada etc etc.
Here's a shot of the comparison on the lg site

here's the link: compare
Just looking for some general input.
Edit: What should i do to test out a used monitor? I have a laptop I could take with me.
