BSoD before windows 7 wizard setup

Thread Starter
I started having problems with my new build when I first tried to correct the memory speed and timings to standard rates. This resulted in the first BSoD.

Meanwhile my new SSD arrived. I figured I would just wipe the drive (nothing important on the computer at this point) and do a fresh instal on the new raid 0 set. I created the raid volume, popped in the install disc and got a BSoD right after it loads the temporary instal files. during the "windows is starting" screen with the four microsoft floating, glowing orbs.

I ran a memory test from, I guess, within bios, it was a tool available before selecting windows in the bios (or maybe within windows 7 CD??) after I had restarted the system when there was a BSoD. 112 passes on all dims! Nothing.

Plugged in different hard drives destroyed/re-creadted/destoyed raid system.

Unplugged graphics card nothing.

My error codes for the BSoD were either 9c or 1a.

Build:

Asus maximus v extreme
corsair vengence 32gb 1866 (10-11-10-30 2 @ 1600 currently)
3770k Ivy bridge
msi 660ti PE
seasonic PSU
intel SSDs(2x 520 series 120gb)
hhd (2th 7200rpm barracudasx4)
corsair h100
blue ray disc drive

system is bare bones at the minute, but have all memory dims in

My next thought was to put ubunto on a flash drive and try to install that ...

PLEASE! I have been up late every night for 1 week trying to debug this thing. This is my first build, I believe I did my research well and have a lot of people around me (who know their stuff better than I do) helping, but to no avail yet.

I know there are experts on this forum, I am eager to learn from you all!

Thanks

might not solve the problem, but try doign so with only 1 or 2 memory sticks installed and everything at stock settings.

Bios Update if not already done, otherwise check to see if others are having similar problems with the bios you are currently using.
