Would be best if you upgrade to a nice 23" or more display, of course.

if you were to upgrade your 23" monitor what would you upgrade to? he's coming from a 17" so i think you should recommend him what you'd want to get next for yourself.
i say he should shoot for a 27" 1440p monitor.

personally i wouldnt like a 23 or 27 inch display coz that would be too big for me. something like 20 or 21 inches would be good .
any good and cheap model in that size ? smile.gif

Is no one going to mention that his PC will struggle much more at 1080p than 1440x900?

Mohit9206 - you asked if your monitor was good enough. Isn't that a question you should ask yourself? If you are happy currently, then don't upgrade, especially if you are budgeting tight with finances.

If you have a little extra money to spare then sure, upgrade. But if you do, remember that your graphics card will struggle more at 1080p in newer titles. Should be fine on all older titles at 1080p.

*Edit* and that monitor you linked above is a decent choice. Cant comment on price however

If you upgrade to 1440p that will be like life vs death, day vs night ... Can't wait for my 1440p, checked it out in shop already, it's MUST have.

Your monitor is 16:10 and only 1440x900 in resolution. Two bad things. I really think you should buy a 16:9 monitor with 1920x1080 or 2560x1440 resolution.
