Hey guys,

Im considering upgrading from 8gb to 32gb so that I can create a bigger ramdisk. This is mainly because I CAN and not beacuse I really need it!

Anyhow, my current version of windows 7 apparently only recognizes 16gb max but my mobo can handle 32gb. My question if this has any effect on my ability to use the other 16gb as a ramdisk?

No you can't use the other 16gb for a ram disk since this is managed by windows.

What Windows 7 version are you running if I may ask?
Probably Home Premium, I am pretty sure you need Win7 Pro to run above 16GB of RAM.

I would just upgrade to Win8 pro for cheap
