Gigabyte z77x UD3H vs D3H and other z77 motherboards - Page 2

Lol i did the same thing i upgraded my 955 to a 3570k and its worth it in my opinion but on to business have you tried looking into the asus z77 boards? I would look into the P8Z77-V or the P8Z77-V LK i had both of them and i liked them both but i upped the board for the more sata ports. And ive also had the UD3H and it was a fine board. Or you can always wait till Haswell since 1155 is a dead socket now frown.gif But its your rig do what makes you happy and good luck!

You are comparing the wrong motherboards then because both have the ultra durable design. You are thinking of the z77 d3h and not the z77x d3h. Too many people mix these boards up when comparing. If you plan to add a second graphics card, the d3h only has 1 3.0 x16 slot and then 2 2.0 x16 slot at x8 and x4 where the ud3h has 2 3.0 x16 slots running at x16 and x8 and then 1 2.0 x16 running at x4.

you also gain these connectors and features over it

1 x power button
1 x reset button
1 x Clear CMOS button
1 x Voltage Measurement Points
1 x BIOS Switch

Onboard OC Features
Lucid Universal MVP Support
Switchable Graphics
GIGABYTE EZ Smart Response
1 x DisplayPort
2 x eSATA 6Gb/s
