deep cool not functioning properly...

i have bought deepcool iceedge 200u and i lapped it. the problem is it doesnt cool the cpu to the point that the system go off

am i overlapped it?
i isntalled and uninstalled it many times . changed the thermal compound... no point.
i suspected the thickness of the part got less by my lapping . so i used papers in the contact of bracket but no luck. i think the pressing is very good on the cpu now. what is the reason its not cooling?

lapping a direct touch cooler is not a good idea. You most likely damaged the Heatpipes.

it was supposed to get better performance by my lapping but i F' ed it. biggrin.gif
so theres no solution for it?
what does damaging the heatpipes mean?
do they have a gas or a fluid in it that i ruined it ...? so if not i just made the thickness less and IT MUST BE FIXED by a thicker bracket with using something like paper peper poopoo pipi ...

looks like a hole in top heatpipe right side. And if it is the pipe is dead / gone / no longer works. redface.gif

man how did u see that, i didnt notice it myself. i got back and took a look. yes its like a hole. and also buttom left another one. u mean a gas came out from this hole so the cooler doesnt work properly?

you answered your question already. the gas/liquid has leaked and therefore the heatpipe can't function anyomore. The only thing you can do is to throw it in the garbage wink.gif

i thought that i was wrong that they may have a fluid(though nothing came out when i was lapping) so i did a well done job to this cooler biggrin.gif thanks every body. have to use the ocz vanquisher again and until when my hyper 212 evo arrives...
